Imaging

Pacific Radiology offers the following services (click on the link for more information):

  • CT – Computed Tomography, one of the best and fastest tools for studying the chest, abdomen and pelvis
  • DEXA – bone density scanning, most often used to diagnose osteoporosis
  • iCAT- dental imaging, used to assess the feasibility of placing dental implants
  • Mammography – used to aid in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women
  • MRI – Magnetic resonance imaging, a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • PET – Positron Emission Tomography – extremely good at detecting the early stages of diseases such as cancer.
  • Pregnancy Ultrasound – to check the health of the baby.
  • Ultrasound – uses sound to help diagnose a variety of conditions
  • Virtual Colonoscopy – used to screen for polyps and other lesions in the large intestine
  • X-rays – for general imaging
